Dr. Recommendations left no stone unturned to ensure that the Medical Breakthrough 6 has the most ergonomic design. For starters, it is much quieter than its peers, thanks to the Quiet Massage technology.

It is one of the very few options you will find that can massage your entire body. And that’s not all; it offers massage techniques from all over the world. Some of my favorites are Thai (deep tissue), Ancient Egyptian (for lower back), and Hawaiian (short, relaxing sessions).

Moreover, it has 3D rollers across its entire L-track design, which allow it to deliver deep, soothing kneading strokes from your neck down to your butt. And like any other massage chair, it comes with adjustable leg extensions.

Ease of Use

One of the best things about Medical Breakthrough 6 is the fact that despite having so many features, it is relatively straightforward to use. I did not have to spend much time to get accustomed to its features and their benefits.

I want to draw your attention to one aspect though – it is a tad bit heavy, weighing a little over 360 pounds. That’s why the inclusion of wheels is a huge blessing in disguise. It facilitates the movement of the chair from one place to another. However, I would recommend not doing it alone, to be on the safer side.

And lest I forget, it also comes with built-in Bluetooth speakers for those of you who prefer listening to soothing music while getting a massage.

What Could’ve Been Better?

I am an all-out perfectionist for everything, which mostly stems from my interior designing work. So, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I could not find any significant flaw in this massage chair. It works like a dream!

But I will say this – it could be a tad bit simpler to assemble. Then again, that’s coming from somebody who has never been into DIY-ing things. My husband takes care of all that, but he was out on a work trip when I got this massage chair.

It arrived in two large boxes. The arms and foot came separately and had to be attached and tightened. Although a DVD explaining how to do it is included, I ended up spending over an hour to get it done. This is far from a deal-breaker, though!

Summing It Up

If you’re wondering why I picked Medical Breakthrough 6 and not Medical Breakthrough 8 (the latest version), the reason is twofold. First, the latter is more than two times as expensive as the former. And second, there are only four additional features included for that huge price jump.

Having said that, I know that even Medical Breakthrough 6 is not exactly affordable. But with an array of splendid features, it will pay huge dividends in the long run. So, my verdict is a definite buy.
