Compliments of DAVID SMALL Dallas, Texas
1 heavily marbled T-Bone steak
3 slices of thickly sliced pepper bacon
Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
About 12 toothpicks
The key to this recipe is heavily marbled steak and thickly sliced bacon.
Marinate the steak by poking it thoroughly with a fork and pouring enough Worchestershire
Sauce to soak one side of the steak and drip over the edges. While wet, pour about one teaspoon of Lawry’s seasoning salt on one side of the steak. Let sit for about 20 minutes.
Wrap that bad boy with three slices of thickly cut bacon. Leave enough space between the slices so that the heat can get to the steak a little bit. It will take about 4 toothpicks for each slice of bacon.
Have the grill on HOT, but DO NOT PUT THE STEAK DIRECTLY OVER THE COALS AT FIRST. Place the steak away from the grill and let it cook for about 15 mins.
It should cook long enough to be nearly cooked all of the way through.
Finish that bad boy off for the color and wellness desired. Keep turning until the bacon is done on both sides of the steak.
Get a knife and fork, slip off to a room by yourself and let the eyes roll back into your head!
