Summer Food Safety Tips

·  Keep food refrigerated until ready to cook.
·  Do not let food unthaw at room temperature, unthaw in refrigerator.
·  Do not let juices from raw meat sit on counters, sinks, or cutting boards, disinfect.
·  Do not put cooked meat back on plate that had raw juices on it.
·  Follow label directions on food for safe handling.
·  Wash hands before/after touching raw meat.
·  Wash utensils used on raw meat after use, do not reuse on cooked meat without washing.
